Analysts Claim: Verizon Sells Around 300,000 BlackBerry Tours on Opening Day

How many Tours could a Verizon (NYSE: VZ) chuck, chuck, if a Verizon Tour could chuck…. BlackBerry Tours? Turns out that analysts are claiming 275,000 to 300,000 BlackBerry Tours made their way out the door during Verizon’s first day of sales back on Sunday. That’s a lot of BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) action. Even if these numbers are inaccurate, Verizon is no doubt happy with the launch… how could they not be?
Now, we’re all sitting here patiently awaiting numbers from the other Tour carriers… I wonder how they’ll fare? Haven’t heard much in the way of ‘buzz’ from TELUS (NYSE: TU) or Bell up here in Canada…
