Fring adds Profiles, Friends Finder feature

Fring has new features – user profiles and Friends Finder. As you can guess for yourself, the idea here (with both features) is to allow users to more easily send invites for Fring to their friends and colleagues. Moreover, the feature(s) also enables easier searching of existing Fring users with whom you may want to friend with.
Fring’s blog post says that the idea behind Friends Finder is to “get fringsters involved & more active by interacting with the fring community and to allow them to easily find and add more friends, so they can better enjoy the benefits fring has to offer.”
In that sense, new fringsters are asked to fill out their own personal profile once they are finished registering to fring. Existing users can go to a special page and create their own profile.
At the moment, Friends Finder and profiles work on web and Symbian S60 client only, but we’ve no doubts updated apps for other mobile platforms are coming in no time.
Fring has added a cool Widget “fringME” to connect your friends directly from your mobile device for symbian S60. Fring is continuously adding more colors in application to give some tough time to Truphone, Jajah or Vopium.
