N-Gage available for the Nokia N97

N-Gage is finally available for Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s flagship device – N97. In order to try it out, you’ll need to start “Software Update” and download the N-Gage client from there.

After the installation process is over, navigate to “Games” and… you’ll figure out what to do next. Unfortunately, not all N-Gage titles can sing along the N97, but you’ll certainly find few interesting ones. The second thing that bothers me is that games do not run in the full screen mode, even though this was somehow expected. The problem is that the games were developed for QVGA screens, most N-Gage devices sport. Hopefully, in the near future we’ll see few titles that take advantage of N97’s nHD screen…
