Fring has updated its multi-IM network and VoIP client to sing along push notifications found in the iPhone OS 3.0. This means that you will be able to stay “Online” even while you’re not using Fring.
So whenever someone calls you or send you a message, you’ll receive a beep sound along with a pop-up window, telling you that your friend is trying to contact you. Clicking on that pop-up window will get you back to Fring, straight to the relevant window.
If you find this annoying after some time, simply “go offline” and that’s it. AppStore link is here, and after the break comes a short video introducing the new feature. Enjoy!
