Mobispine

Joakim from Mobispine informed me that their company has acquired Fun Text and its parent company Image Semantics, with the idea to deliver messaging solutions to operators.

Fun Text is a consumer service that connects content with communication and enables users to send professionally created multimedia to express their emotions. The combined vision is to deliver next generation mobile messaging services on a global scale.

The two companies already support major operators such as Vodafone (NYSE: VOD), Orange, Telefonica (NYSE: TEF), Sprint (NYSE: S), T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) and O2 (NYSE: TEF). In addition, Mobispine has recently expanded into Brazil and has also won contracts with Russian and Indian mobile operators.

For the record, Fun Text is the fourth acquisition by Mobispine in a little over 12 months as the company becomes a new force in mobile messaging.

  1. Joakim says:

We think Fun Text is a very cool service enabling for users to send emotions through standard MMS from a mobile to another mobile.

SO far 5+ leading mobile carriers do use this with good results and there are many more to come.

    Thx Dusan for the post!
