T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) just sweetened the pot for bargain-savvy customers looking for the best value on their next handset. The No. 4 US wireless carrier has just gone live with their new “T-Mobile Certified Open Box” program, which re-sells returned mobile phones in like new condition at a heavy discount. The handsets are inspected and certified to be in good working order, so the worst you’ll get is a mint-condition handset with a bit of time logged onto the call counter.

What you see here is the Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) TM506 flip-phone rocking a hefty discount. The SE TM506 can be had for just $15, if you’re willing to buy a handset that’s already been pressed up against someone else’s face.
Head on over to T-Mobile USA’s website for the latest open-box pricing on used handsets.
