SPB Software updates its RSS reader for Windows Mobile – SPB News

SPB Software has released SPB News 2.0, which was formerly known as SPB Insight. Touted as an “intelligent news reader,” the application is an easy to use RSS reader for Windows Mobile smartphones.
As you’re probably already aware what an RSS reader app should do, I’ll skip that part, and we’re going straight to the features:
- New touch-oriented user interface
- Gestures support for quick switching between articles
- Automatic/scheduled updates
- Smart scrolling in articles
- Easy subscription to more than thousands news feeds in an array of categories
As for compatibility, SPB News 2.0 works on Windows Mobile 5 and latter devices, and both touch and non-touch enabled phones are supported. The application costs $19.95, and a free 15-day trial is also available. Finally, existing SPB Insight owner can upgrade at no extra charge…
