BlackBerry Onyx 9020 Rocking Leather Battery Door

If you weren’t sure that the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Onyx 9020 would be taking the Bold’s place down the line, maybe a similarly-styled leather battery door will convince you. This may still be a prototype that doesn’t make it to production, however, since we’ve also seen models with a trackpad (rather than a trackball, as found on this particular Onyx). It’s purely a style move, but definitely one I think most Bold users would be happy to support in the next iteration. If you haven’t had a good look at the Onyx, it promises to be RIM’s next all-in-one device, complete with Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and a 480 x 360 display. Still no word on release date, though we hear it’ll be coming to AT&T sooner or later.
