myTouch 3G Tracking Numbers Are Comin’ Out

If you were one of the proud T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) customers that pre-ordered a myTouch 3G, I’ve got some good news for you this morning. Word has it that tracking numbers are on the way via text message. Now, don’t get TOO excited as the tracking numbers themselves aren’t recognized by UPS just yet, but the fact that folks are starting to receive them would lead us to believe the devices are all packed up and ready to go. They’ll no doubt be available to track within UPS’ systems real soon.
Did you pre-order a myTouch 3G? Have you received your tracking text yet?
Last I heard deliveries of the myTouch 3G were slated for August 5th at the latest. This is the same date the new Android-powered device is slated to go on sale to the general public as well.

Yes I got my text yesterday for shipment of a white one. UPS 3 Day Select (which I may have selected during checkout). Can’t wait!
