Rogers Wireless now supports carrier billing in N-GageNokia has managed to get Canada’s Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless on board for carrier billing in the N-Gage. As a result, N-Gage users will be able to pay for a game via their monthly phone bill — cost of the game will be added on top of what you already pay for the mobile service.

No more credit cards – when you need a game, you can buy it right away and pay at the end of the month along with what you owe to the carrier.

I find this to be a great news for Nokia (NYSE: NOK), and in that sense I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rogers enabling carrier billing for the Ovi Store, too. Hopefully, we’ll see more carriers embracing this kind of billing for third-party app stores.
