Creepy Tamara Hope Palm Pre Ads Spoofed on YouTube

Chances are you’ve seen one of the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre commercials airing these days, with the one-and-only ‘creepy’ Tamara Hope. I say ‘creepy’ because that’s what people are searching for… Don’t believe me? Punch ‘Creepy Palm Pre Commercial’ into Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and check the results.
Now, I’m not sure this is what Palm had intended, but at least these commercials have made a mark in our collective memories for something.
With that in mind, some have taken the opportunity to make their own ’spoof’ version of the new ads. None of them actually feature a Palm Pre, but I found 1 of the 3 pretty funny. You can check them out here (my favorite), here and here.

I have nothing against the women or the palm pre but I agree this is quite creepy and plain weird. I typed that into Google and a ridiculous amount of results came up, I thought I was the only one but I was surely wrong. I would suggest they seriously rethink these commercials or fire their marketing department.
I am just glad I am not the only one who was creeped out by this ad. I didn’t even know it was for a palm pre. All I saw was a ghost.
Wow. Such prejudice!
