FusionOne - Network Address Book

FusionOne has recently announced the availability of the API for its Network Address Book (NAB) solution, providing developers with access to centralized contact lists across a wide range of communications services (instant messaging, social networks, and so on).

From the press release:

With the NAB API, members of the FusionOne Developer Program can utilize Network Address Book to enable a wide range of services, such as providing access to mobile contacts to send text messages from desktop computers, enabling LBS devices to map a street address from information entered in e-mail contact lists, and allowing social networking applications to access mobile numbers found only on a mobile device. The increased access makes it easy for consumers to use these services, increasing user adoption rates and thus lowering the barrier of entry for developers.

For the record, the FusionOne Developer Program currently has more than 50 active mobile developers…
