Medscape iPhone app features information on more than 6,000 drugs

WebMD has released a free iPhone application called Medscape with information about more than 6,000 generic and brand name drugs, plus hundreds of herbals, supplements and antidotes. Moreover, the app features a drug interaction checker, which shows interactions for a combination of up to 30 drugs, herbals and/or supplements. Finally, there’s a directory of physicians and pharmacies, as well as latest news from the company…
