Legendary cyberpunk game Beneath A Steel Sky coming to an iPhone, iPod Touch near you

Developer of the famous Broken Sword game series, Revolution Software, is about to join the iPhone craze. However, it’s not Broken Sword that will “brake” in to the AppStore, but the company’s other legendary title – Beneath A Steel Sky.
Those who don’t remember the once-famous point-and-click adventure should know that it’s taking place in a dystopian future of ruined Earth, and it sees you controlling Robert Foster as he attempts to find out about his past.
The iPhone game, called “Beneath A Steel Sky: Remastered”, has been created using the original’s code and assets, with the addition of a new direct control system more suitable for iPhone’s/iPod Touch’s touchscreen…
And that’s about all we know about it at this stage. Plus the release date, which is set for sometime this September. Then, hopefully, Revolution will also start porting its other popular titles to Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s mobile platform. We’ll see…
