Live photos of the LG BL40: Default font is Comic Sans, designers beware

The Russians, or the Chinese, always get their hands on hot new devices before everyone else, and this time it’s the folks over at Mail.ru who got a chance to play with the BL40. Before even plugging the URL into Google Translate to make sense of what was being said, my heart sank into my lower abdomen when I saw the photo above. That my friends is Comic Sans, one of the worst fonts in human history. Why oh why LG must you do this?! It isn’t all bad news, Mail.ru is ecstatic that the BL40 plays all their pirated movie files just fine, has the ability to multitask Java applications, and the browser is snappy while also supporting Adobe Flash video. This is only a preview, so expect more once the device hits the market later this year. One more photo of the terrible font choice below:
