Brief: Nokia to launch TD-SCDMA Symbian smartphone in China this year

Colin Giles, Nokia Senior Vice President for Greater China, Japan and Korea, told Reuters yesterday that they’re going to launch a mid-to-high end Symbian powered smartphone by the end of this year that will utilize China Mobile’s 3G network based on TD-SCDMA technology.
