Palm Pre for $149 at ‘The Shack’ This Weekend

Radio Shack, er, The Shack, er… Well, whatever they’re calling it these days, is running a special promo this weekend. If you’re still on the lookout for the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre you can pick one up for $50 less than usual at… The Shack. An internal memo has leaked which gives us a look into the sale:

“From August 7-9, the Palm Pre will be available for only $149.99 on new two-year activations with a Sprint (NYSE: S) Everything Plan of $69.99/month or higher. At $50 off, it’s our lowest price ever! (Two-year upgrade pricing will remain at $219.99.) “

That’s a good price, no? Of course, you’ve got to be a new Sprint customer, and yes… your monthly plan must run you $69.99 or more. Great way for ‘The Shack’ to get things rolling under their new moniker anyways. This will certainly generate a little bit of buzz. I’ll be on the lookout for more deals.
