Flexible Leaf Concept Phone Wearable and Solar-Charged

Fresh from the wacky world of concept phones is the Leaf, by Seungkyn Woo and Junyi Heo. By incorporating a layer of flexible solar cells underneath an outer, porous layer, the Leaf would in theory charge while you wear it. Now, the phone is keeping things basic with only text and phone functions available, but considering you’re powering this thing by the sun, you can only expect it to do so much. This is an especially cool idea since it straddles all sorts of burgeoning mobile technology – solar charging, flexible materials, and wearable electronics are all pretty cutting edge.
