I bet Tamara Hope is making wispy, existential analogies about your GPS position right now…
Will, Stefan and I run down the week’s mobile news, with Palm’s policies on location and Pre app tracking taking up a big part of the episode, but we also go over Microsoft and Nokia’s burgeoning love affair and what it means for Windows Mobile (if anything). New information on the upcoming Zer01 service has Will completely reneging his (and many others’) previous enthusiasm for the prospect of unlimited VoIP calls and data for $70/month.
Our giveaway this episode is the biggest yet: an HTC Magic from Vodafone. Yes, that means it’s for our UK readers, and because it’s a doozy, we’ll be running it for two weeks and offering four ways to enter.
- Leave a comment on this podcast post
- Follow @IntoMobile on twitter
- Use the #intomobile tag when tweeting
- Visit the HTC Magic’s page on the Vodafone.uk site and send an e-mail to contest@intomobile.com with the THREE different items located in the “Key Features” section.
If you’re wondering how she runs, be sure to take a look at our review – personally, I was personally very impressed. Be sure to go over the terms and conditions at the end of the post if you’re going to be entering. U.S. readers, we still have an Opera shirt contest to tide y’all over until the next go-around, which will be something equally awesome.
Our Apps of the Week segment centres around food this episode – recipies, restaurants and shopping utilities across a whole bunch of mobile platforms will definitely make your cooking life easier. Hit the jump to see what they are, alongside a heaping mouthful of the week’s biggest mobile news.
