opera shirt giveaway 1 300x316 Who wants a FREE designer shirt from Opera? [update]

This shirt makes me cool!

Opera Software was kind enough to give us the last few designer t-shirts in their Mountain View office during my interview with Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner, and instead of keeping them all to myself, I’m giving two of them away (that’s just how we do). The Opera Software shirts were designed by “Moods of Norway” and they rock my socks.

We’re giving away two of these designer t-shirts – one (1) male shirt and one (1) female shirt – to celebrate Opera’s decision to bring the heralded Opera Mobile browser to Android! Opera Mobile brings a true desktop-like browsing experience to your mobile phone, so it only makes sense that it goes Android.

One day, we’ll have IntoMobile t-shirts as nice as these. Until then, I’ll keep rocking my more-chic-than-geek threads from one of our favorite mobile browser makers. Enter for your chance to win by leaving a comment in the comments section below.

Update:

  • Winners will be contacted soon. Check your inbox to see if you’ve won!
  • Also, I realize that most people probably don’t want a shirt that I’ve already worn. The t-shirt you see in the picture above is my own, pilfered from Opera.

  6. L.S. says:

Seriously, Opera is not only bringing really browsing-experience to smartphones, Opera Mini is also the only way to browse the internet on most ordinary cellphones, because the build-in browsers are too crappy for most sites, especially those depending on modern web technologies. For example, nearly all Samsung phones are shipped with the Netfront Browser, and this dinosaur is only useful to download Opera Mini. Thank you Opera. Can’t wait for the Opera 10 Final release.

  7. Pace Ripley says:

  10. I gripe about o-mini’s interaction and control details enough (and they respond with tips and tricks) I should give them advertising by wearing a shirt.

And it never occurred to me they had them. If I don’t win one, I’ll have to look and see if you can buy one instead to go with my FF swag.

  11. Richard M says:

Those are pretty cool shirts but they don’t look like anything that would be related to Opera. Where’s the traditional big red “O”??

    • Will Park says:

The Opera logo is actually incorporated into the intricate logo you see in the picture. I think Moods of Norway crafted the logo all custom-style for Opera. There’s a more traditional Opera logo on the back. I’ll post that soon.

Opera is my favorite, on my phone and the PC too. Too bad they do not have Opera Mobile for Blackberry (as I know RIM do not want to support them, so Opera is guilty in that). Maybe if it will be on Android too, RIM will change their mind too.
