Twitterrific 2.1 hits the AppStore

Version 2.1 of the popular Twitter client Twitterrific is in the AppStore — both the free and premium versions, that is. The updated app packs tons of improvements, including:
- New “Load More…” button for getting older tweets in timeline
- Followers and following lists are are added to author view
- Support for recording, posting, and viewing of videos
- Account viewer and picker is added to main toolbar and posting view
- Built-in browser now supports landscape mode
- Lowered battery usage by changing how location updates
- Tap & hold menus added for tweet, links and photos
- Image links are now displayed in a photo viewer
- Ability to translate tweets with the action bar
- “Reply” and “Retweet” are added to tap shortcuts
- More accurate location readers
- Improved handling of YouTube links
- Tapping on avatar in author view now displays it full-size
- Author view shows if the user follows you back
- Long uploads now show a percentage completed
- Improved bookmarking support
- Added in-app email support
- Passwords are now supported for Instapaper
- Optimized for iPhone 3GS
In addition to the features mentioned above, Twitterrific 2.1 also fixes several known bugs and is overall much faster now. Price remains the same and it’s 4 bucks ($3.99), and a free, lite version is also available. Here’s the AppStore link.
