
Verizon Wireless unveiled the UMW190 USB modem for world travelers. The trick is in using both a CDMA (EV-DO) radio and a tri-band HSPA radio. In addition, there’s also support for GSM/EDGE networks and as a result, using a computer that has this modem connected to it, you can access Internet virtually anywhere in the world.
