BlackBerry Storm’s A-Brewin’ For Verizon and Vodafone

Between this high-resolution press graphic of the Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Storm 2, SKUs for BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 9550 accessories popping up in Vodafone (NYSE: VOD)’s database, and all of these hands-on videos making the rounds, it’s clear that the Storm 2 is getting ready for primetime. Previous indications suggested a late Semptember launch date for RIM’s next SurePress smartphone, although there’s still a lot of contention surrounding how the new “TruePress” screen will handle. Apparently it’s possible to turn the clicking mechanism on and off, but specifics are still skimpy. Regardless, it will be exciting to see whether or not the Storm 2 can redeem the family name.
