Samsung Rogue U960 and Intensity U450 go live on Verizon

As expected, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) has officially started selling two Samsung devices – Rogue U960 and Intensity U450. Let’s quickly describe each of the phones, despite the fact that you probably already know everything about them.
The Samsung Rogue U960 is the successor of the Glyde, and is the first device to feature an AMOLED display. Rest of the specs include 3-megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, touchscreen, GPS, and a microSD card slot. Supported services include V CAST Music/Video and VZ Navigator. As for the pricing, Verizon is asking $99 after a $100 rebate and with a two-year contract, or $169.99 after rebate with a 1-year contract, or $419.99 sans any commitments. Speaking of a contract, you’ll need an add-on data package with the U960, which starts at 10 bucks a month.
As for the Intensity U450, it’s a lower-end phone, coming in two color options – Flamingo Red and Grey. Feature wise, there’s a 1.3-megapixel camera on board, 176×220 pixels screen, microSD expansion slot, GPS, and the ability to sing along V CAST Music and VZ Navigator. Alot of my favorite Windows Mobile apps will not install.
