skype-iphone-canadaYeehaw! Jeez, Skype for iPhone was launched in late March, early April, right? While the U.S. was Skyping it up, Canadians still had to wait as a version wasn’t available to them… until now. Thankfully, Skype is now available to the true north strong and free… and yep, it IS free!

So why no Skype for Canada until now? Apparently there was a restriction over the licensing of an audio codec used to play sound from Skype on the iPhone. Good grief Charlie Brown. Guess that’s been resolved. About gosh darn time, right?

Canadians, join me and get your Skype on. You can download it via the App Store for free (iTunes link).
