T-Mobile USA launches Samsung T659 Scarlet

T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) USA has a new entry-level 3G phone in its offering – Samsung T659 Scarlet. Aside from packing a 3G radio, the Samsung standard-lookin’ slider comes with a quad-band GSM radio as well as GPS receiver (coupled with some navigation software pre-installed, we guess). Rest of the specs include, 2-megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth, email client, microSD memory card slot, and a battery that can sustain up to 12.5 days of stand-by time.

Basic specs require low price, and in that sense the carrier is asking $69.99 for the Scarlet, with a two-year contract signed…
