Brief: Nokia Booklet 3G available for preorder in Italy for €699 ($1020)

Hat tip to SlashGear for pointing out the avilability of the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Booklet 3G, the company’s first netbook, in Italy for a whopping €699. I don’t know about you, but I’m staying far, far, far away. Specs, videos, and pictures can be seen in my Nokia World 2009 coverage blog post.

   WTH? Does dinner and bottle of wine come with that screwing?
   Socialized medicine?
   Carla Bruni?
   The last would be worth it.

   This is either some kind of insane marketing ploy, an over the top attempt to collect an early adopter tax or both.
