Adrenaline Golf Online

An indy development studio Eurocenter announced the launch of Adrenaline Golf Online, which apparently is the first game to fully support the advanced iPhone 3GS graphic extensions. The 3GS owners will be able to see OpenGL shader effects, highly detailed golf courses and stunning (for a mobile device) water reflection effects. All this is not to say that the game won’t work on the original iPhone or iPhone 3G — it’s just that those owning the iPhone 3GS will enjoy it on a completely new level.

As for the gameplay, you can compete worldwide against other players, collect stars and send bonuses to other players. There are 72 completely different courses with an array of environments such as beach atmosphere, Amazon forests, night scenes with a reflected moon, and a volcano theme that includes lava, which apparently looks super-cool with OpenGL.

Before you push the trigger and download the game (it costs 99 cents), check out a short demo video after the jump. ;)

Actually Blue Skies 3GS and Dark Raider S were the first two OpenGL ES 2.0 games.
