Aircel and RIM Strike a Partnership to Offer BlackBerry Services in India

Aircel, one of the fastest growing carriers in India has struck a deal to partner with RIM. The partnership of course enables Aircel to offer the beloved BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) and BlackBerry services in India. To start, Aircel will offer enterprise and individual customers 4 different Berry devices, including the Bold 9000, Curve 8900, Curve 8310 and Pearl 8110. Not a bad starting lineup! A number of data plans have been set as well, including an unlimited offering. BlackBerry users in Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangaluru, Coimbatore and Kokata should keep an eye open for Aircel.
