Star6 rocks out in Berlin!

You might remember I’ve written about Star6 before – it’s a performance music app for the iPhone and iPod Touch (here and here). Well Jason Forrest, the guy behind it (along with Agile Partners) decided it was about time to take this thing live – in Berlin!

The video is really a lot of fun but more importantly, it shows how each of the musicians used the app in a different way.
The music spans a WIDE spectrum, from a Banjo, Accordion and iPhone cover of Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”, to an electro-jazz and drum meltdown, to a delicate meditation on Eastern composition to bombastic drone noise – we had it all last week! Plus you can hear how responsive the audience was as the vibe for the party was really upbeat and curious about the app! This was the first event of it’s kind, and based on how great the response was, we’re currently working to arrange similar events in major cities around the world.
