Looks like the BlackBerry is coming to Kenya. The other day, Orange, together with RIM officially announced the launch of BlackBerry in the country. When asked to comment on the development, a BlackBerry spokesperson commented:

“The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. Orange customers in Kenya will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry smartphones to stay connected and have easy access to information on the go.”

To start, Orange will have the BlackBerry Bold up for offer, along with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Congrats to the good folks in Kenya. Have fun with your new BlackBerry Bold devices, will ya!?
