You may or may not recall me tipping you off to the fact that Real Soccer 2010 was coming soon to the App Store. I knew it was only a matter of time, and, sure enough… Real Soccer 2010 has arrived for all the ‘footy’ fans out there. The previous edition of the game was the #1 soccer game in the App Store, and the 2010 edition is surely going to break new ground.

The new title from Gameloft brings 8 leagues, 245 teams and REAL player names thanks to a FIFPro license! There’s also 14 stadiums modeled in 3D to help enhance the gameplay experience.

Many new game modes have been added, including an online real-time multiplayer mode, an ‘enter the legend’ mode where you play as one player, and a ‘club master’ mode that lets you manage a team to championship glory through strategy, management skill and trades.

You can check out Real Soccer 2010 right now in the App Store (iTunes link). It’s available for $6.99. Expensive for sure, but a must-have for the die-hard footballer, er, soccer fan.
