Samsung AMOLED 12M/SCH-W880 goes all official in Korea

Samsung has officially announced its latest 12-megapixel camera phone in its own backyard. I’m talking about the model SCH-W880/AMOLED 12M, which we’ve seen leaked recently and then on the official promo poster yesterday.

The camera is the key feature of this baby and not just because it has a 12-megapixel sensor, but also because of the 3x optical and 6x digital zoom, Xenon flash, auto-focus, image stabilization, face detection, and the ability to record 720p videos at 30 fps, which is impressive. Also notable is that large 3.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) touchscreen that perfectly renders Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI…

Finally, the release date – interested Koreans will be able to grab the Samsung AMOLED 12M starting from early next month. Price was not unveiled and the same goes for the carrier partner…
