Horror Racing is the off-road arcade racing game for the iPhone/iPod Touch

A month before Halloween, Chillingo has released Horror Racing, a top-down off-road arcade racing game. The “arcade” part means you’ll do much more than race with your opponents. For that purpose, there are explosive weapons, speedy upgradable cars, and powerful pick-up items — all which should help you win your way across 15 levels — that’s 5 per stage. Add 3 levels for the good ol “big boss” and you get a total of 18 levels on 15 tracks.
In addition, there are 5 characters to choose from (+2 when you pass the championship), 3 main weapons (machine gun, rocket launcher and mines), as well as 3 special abilities (red and hot, dark energy, quad damage).
In a nutshell, Horror Racing promises tons of fun. The game costs $2.99, and a free, lite version is also available.
