Bell To Go All Official With New HSPA Network in November

Of course, as you just read in my post above, Bell has been working hard on their network upgrades. So much so, that the HSPA upgrade is well ahead of schedule. BGR is reporting that the network will go green next month, in plenty of time to work out any kinks ahead of the Olympic games in Vancouver. Bell is the official network of the games… Me thinks Bell has a busy few months ahead of them!

The new HSPA network from bell is an overlay of their 1XRTT/EV0DO Rev A. network and will offer speeds of up to 21Mbps. The expansion has apparently covered more than 1,000,000 square kilometers of Canadian landscape, including around 20,000 cities and towns. Yikers, great job Bell. Thumbs up.
