I updated to 3.1.2 because 3.1 caused all kinds of serious issues. My home button stopped working meaning that I have to turn off the and restart the phone if I want to use a different application. And there is no more Internet tethering with these versions which was one of the iPhones most useful features. I am seriously mad and will call apple to give them a piece of my mind. These frequent updates are apples way of battling jailbreaking (whic is perfectly legal and moral btw) and they are making the lives of us non-jailbreakers miserable.
