Air Canada App for BlackBerry Launched

Hot on the heels of their iPhone application, Air Canada has released an app for BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) which lets you check-in, board, receive important notifications and look up flight status. This is way handier than the web signal for BlackBerry that they had before, and complements their other mobile services, like 2D barcode boarding passes, very nicely. Of course, it’s only on Air Canada, so if you’re flying with anyone else, you might want to take a look at WorldMate Live. If Air Canada is your first choice (and even if it isn’t, you can archive the app on your SD card), check out the BlackBerry App World for more info.
