verizon logo1 Verizon rolls out Quad Play bundle with wireless serviceHome phone, TV and high-speed internet have been bundled in so-called “triple play” deals from telcos for a while. The idea is to get all your communications subscriptions from a single source, lowering the per-service cost. Today, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless launched their “Quad-Play” offering that bundles home phone, TV, internet and wireless phone service. The Verizon quad-play bundle is now available for Verizon customers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic US regions.

If you’re a Verizon customer lucky enough to get fiber straight to your door, Verizon will charge you $134.99 a month for wireline, TV, internet and wireless service. If you’re limited to DSL service in your area, Verizon’s quad-play bundles start at $124.99 per month. Basic Quad-Play service includes 450 wireless minutes on the Verizon Wireless network.

Verizon says the bundles can save customers from $59 to $179 per month. But, it’s probably a good idea to look over the included services to make sure Verizon’s Quad-Play bundle doesn’t bundle services you don’t user (wireless minutes, TV packages, home phone service).
