Consumer Cellular launches Doro phones for seniors

Remember the Doro phones? We did covered the “super easy to use devices for seniors” in the past – two of them to be more precise. And now we have Consumer Cellular announcing the addition of two such phones to its portfolio. Both the Doro PhoneEasy 410 and 345 come with large buttons, strong vibrating alerts, loud ringers, Bluetooth and support for hearing aid devices. In addition, there’s an alarm clock, FM radio, calculator, flashlight as well as few games pre-installed.

The Doro PhoneEasy 410 is clamshell shaped, whereas the Doro PhoneEasy 345 is a candybar. The former costs $50, while the latter could be yours for $40. Both devices are available in either black or white, and require a $35 activation fee along with a plan that costs $20/month for 250 minutes.

I told my daughter that I’ll buy her the Doro cell phone so that she can easily contact us when she needs to. But my daughter insisted that she wants the Just5 cell phone than this one. She was attracted by its bright red color. Well, she saw it to her classmate’s grandma. After gauging the qualities and offers of Just5, I also agreed to follow her want. The Just5 cell phone is also a nice phone like Doro. Actually, Just5 offers more attractive calling plans than Doro so it’s a good thing that my daughter knows what she likes, too.
