Twitterers toting a BlackBerry that need a new Twitter tool to help them Tweet should check this out today (wow, say that 10 times fast). TweetGenius 1.1 has been released and packs some really nifty features including the ability to:

  • Send tweets
  • Automatically fetch new tweets in the background
  • Save tweets as favorites
  • Delete tweets
  • Send your GPS location
  • Send photos to numerous online photo services
  • Shorten URLs with bit.ly
  • View trends
  • Search in real time
  • Mark messages as read when you’re done reading them
  • Customize themes and fonts
  • View photos
  • View user profiles and timelines
  • View users by both username and real name

TweetGenius 1.1 supports WiFi, should work great on BlackBerry OS 5.0, 4.7.1, 4.7, 4.6.1, 4.6, 4.5 and 4.3. The only downer here is SureType devices are not supported.

For more info hit up www.thetweetgenius.com. You can pick it up now for $7.99 (regularly $9.99). Expensive I know, but if you’re hardcore into Twitter… May be worth it.

Note: If the developers can here me… Would be mighty nifty if a free trial was available…
