My bud David over at TMoNews has managed to get his hands (from a trusted ninja) on a video look at the Samsung Behold II’s TouchWiz interface. The custom UI ‘Cube’ is certainly a different take on the traditional Android UI. Check it out.
Last I heard the Samsung Behold II will be announced at T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) on November 12th… with availability coming November 18th. Pricing is said to be around the $249.99 mark on a 2-year contract. Would you spend that much for a spinning cube, WiFi, 16GB of storage, and a 5MP camera with auto-focus and flash? Check out the video above if you haven’t already, and leave your thoughts in the comments.
What do you think? Awesomely awesome? Or colossal FAIL?

I have seen this phone in action and it really is a great phone . Individual wall papers for every screen , image calling, even the touch wiz is well implimented. We got our store demo a few days back and we have been fighting over it ever since. One thing I haven’t heard anything about is the revamped WiFi display (it shows were the hotspots are in relation to you) and the onboard apps. I can’t wait to sell this beast of a phone. The only thing I haven’t figured out quite yet is how I can get the Rom for my mytouch!!!!!
Uma calling sorry didn’t catch that I got auto corrected . And for the moderator Uma calling is described in page 95 and page 137 in the users manual.
I ordered mine today so hope to get started within the next few days. Can’t wait to take a crack at the Samsung Behold II. From what I read on http://www.Behold-Android.com, The Behold II include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera, and up 16GB expandable memory via the microSD slot. Samsung stated that the smartphone follows on the success of its Samsung Behold and takes it to the next level with the addition of Android, bringing support for Google services and Exchange ActiveSync.
