HTC announced that Australia is now officially blessed with two of the company’s Android smartphones – Hero and Tattoo.
The first of the two is a more capable device, sporting a large 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480) capacitive touchscreen, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, 5-megapixel camera, and so on. On the other hand, the Tattoo is known as an entry-level Android handset that prides itself with personalized cover support, 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touchscreen, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS and 3.2-megapixel camera. In addition, both phones come with HTC’s own Sense UI that runs on top of Android, allowing for additional personalization.
Price wise, the Tattoo is available for AU$599, while the Hero could be yours for AU$200 more. That’s the price sans any contract signed, of course…
