As expected, Bell’s mobile Wi-Fi hotspot is now available for $99.95 on a three-year contract. The Novatel MiFi 2372 can hit speeds up to 7.2 Mbps thanks to Bell’s new HSPA network and share the connection between up to 5 devices, it’s just too bad it doesn’t support the 21 Mbps that HSPA+ is bringing to their internet stick. If you’re interested in picking up the MiFi from Bell, it can be found in their online store, or if you’re weighing your options, take a look at our review.

In exploring RIM’s platform, he has learned what enterprises are looking for in mobility as well as what makes the innocuous BlackBerry so appealing to them. Recently Simon’s been covering RIM’s gradual move into an already-crowded consumer market, and the impact of burgeoning challengers, such as the iPhone, as well as long-time leaders, like Nokia, on BlackBerry’s advancement. With plenty of content under his belt, Simon will be branching off a bit to see what other smartphone manufacturers are working on while still using BlackBerry as a barometer.
