Samsung Jet

A new Samsung Jet firmware is floating around the Interwebs, claiming to deliver overall performance increase. Firmware version S8000XEII2 packs several improvements, including:

  • The Dolphin web browser and media browser now work faster.
  • 3D Cube interface has got a new background along with new widgets: Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.
  • Media player supports landscape orientation, and also rocks an improved interface.

The new Jet firmware is still not officially available — at least we haven’t caught any info from Samsung — but thanks to the good ol’ grey channels you don’t have to wait. Simply grab the file from here and take it from there…
