gwabbit, the BlackBerry app that makes it easy to grab contact information via emails, is apparently launching a free version as early as next week. The new version will include a new alert feature that informs contacts via email when their contact information has been added. Hmmm, not sure I like that at all. Still, the free version may be an excellent solution for some out there.
If and when you do get embarrassed by the email messages going out to your new contacts, you can always step up to the plate and throw down some love to the folks at gwabbit… and buy the full version for $9.99.
I’ll keep an eye open for the freebie version of gwabbit… stay tuned.
