After the iPhone and Android, AdMob keeps conquering new platforms. The mobile advertising network has announced support for Palm (NSDQ: PALM)’s webOS, launching a new open source SDK (MIT license) to integrate its ads in apps on Palm Pre and Pixi.
Still in beta, the SDK is readily available for download from Google Code, enabling webOS developers to display both CPC text ads and CPM banner ads.
Finally, AdMob said they are already working with several developers — including Delicious Morsel and Byte Sequencing — to incorporate AdMob’s new Palm ad unit into their applications.

This huge leap for Google & Admob is EXACTLY the kind of kick up the rear we in mobile web world need to keep happening to maintain warp-speed growth.
Very exciting to see Admob grow even faster with Google… & hoping excellent Admob analytics which we use on http://www.SNO.mobi is soon integrated into Google analytics, so mobile website skiing website can benefit from same integrated Google insight & info as big screen version.

AdMob really should begin updating their intro web page with graphics and links stating support for webOS and Android. All everyone currently sees is iPhone – what’s up with that?
