The Nokia N900, which started shipping recently, doesn’t come with built in support to view office documents. DataViz, makers of the awesome Documents To Go software, has just announced that you’ll be able to download a free 30 day trial of their viewer software, or purchase the program outright for $10. The introductory offer will rise to $20 at some point, but it hasn’t been established when exactly that will happen. Now remember, this is simply the “Viewer Edition”, which as the name implies will not allow you to edit documents. Still, it’s better than nothing for all you who absolutely need to read PowerPoint and Excel documents on the go. And for those of you wondering, this application will support DOC, PPT and XLS files created with versions of Office 97 all the way to Office 2007.
