HomeFinder.com — the service which connects home buyers, sellers and real estate professionals — is “going iPhone” with a dedicated application called “Open Houses.” The free app helps homebuyers find open houses and connect with a qualified local REALTOR. The application is connected to HomeFinder.com’s database, which gets ads from more than 130 local newspapers across the U.S.
The Open Houses app features include:
- One click access to open houses around a user’s location (search nearby), plus search filtering to pinpoint the areas, price range and property types;
- Easy access to contacting selling agents via email or phone;
- Integrated mapping and point-to-point driving directions through Google Maps;
- The ability to save properties, view photos/detailed floor plans and browse HomeFinder.com’s listing database of over 3.5 million homes for sale.
Finally the AppStore link – it’s here.

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
