LG-CESparty

LG and Sprint are having a big launch event on January 6 during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which is apparently going to be hosted by Brooke Shields. Celebrity endorsement isn’t cheap, meaning they’re launching something big, but nobody really knows what just now. Our buddy Greg thinks it’s most likely the LG Lotus 2, and possibly the Prada III, which falls in line with the “celebrate style” tagline for the party the following night. Eric, however, thinks it’s something considerably more ambitious: a WiMAX phone. Sprint needs at least one device other than the Samsung Mondi to make their 4G network worth all the trouble, and LG may very well be the one to make it. CES isn’t far away, so we’ll be finding out what this mystery handset is soon enough.
