ShoutOUT TXT for iPhone

ShoutOUT TXT is a neat iPhone app for those people who like texting but hate typing on a virtual keyboard. Using this application, you can voice dictation messages in fluent natural speech and “watch” them being transcribed in seconds. If, however, the software is not sure about the word, the Promptu SmartWord editing comes into play, allowing you to tap a word to see and select from likely alternatives.

All text messages created using only the keyboard are always free, and you pay only pennies for spoken and transcribed messages. The ShoutOUT TXT comes with 25 voice credits, and you can purchase additional 50 voice credits for $1.99, 150 for $3.99, and 250 for $4.99.

ShoutOUT TXT voice recognition is server-based, and 100% automated. All message transcriptions are created without any human intervention whatsoever, so privacy is guaranteed. You can grab the app from here. (iTunes)
